Full Job Description

You will be joining the team offering evidenced based interventions, ensuring the highest standards of care for people of all ages with an eating disorder, their family/carers. A principal role is to assess, plan and implement evidence-based interventions and care to promote recovery from eating disorders. The post holder will hold their own caseload and work closely with all other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Although we are an all-age service, we welcome applications from practitioners who may prefer to focus on working with children and or adults.
Experience of delivering NICE concordant eating disorders treatment is advantageous, however we also invite your expression of interest if you have transferable skills gained from working in other areas of mental health (adults and/or children) and would embrace the opportunity to develop the eating disorder specific competencies required. We will support and facilitate your development, tailored to your learning needs and experience., The team will provide evidence-based interventions to people with
an ED, their families/carers.
The principal role is in partnership with people with an ED, families
and carers to assess, plan and implement evidence-based interventions and care to promote recovery from eating disorders. The post holder will hold their own caseload and work closely with all other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
A key secondary role is in liaison and joint working with other professionals, including general practice, CAMHS, adult mental health, LEA/schools and universities, to support integrated treatment and to widen awareness of the complexities involved in the management and treatment of Eating Disorders.
Full or Part-time (Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00).
