Full Job Description

As the SHEQ Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our SHEQ standards across all aspects of our operations. You will manage all aspects of SHEQ policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.,

  • Continued development, implementation, and maintenance of SHEQ policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and manage compliance.

  • Identify potential hazards and risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Provide guidance and support including training and refresher courses as required to management and employees on SHEQ matters.

  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

  • Lead communications with insurance providers

  • Monitor and analyse SHEQ performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to promote a culture of SHEQ excellence.

  • Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

    Professional certification in SHEQ management preferred (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor).

  • Proven experience in SHEQ management (required)

  • Proven experience in SHEQ management within the haulage or transportation industry (desired)

  • Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and drive results in a dynamic environment.
