Full Job Description
· To have full awareness of all costs relating to project spend.
· Attend management meetings as and when required e.g. internal handover, formal client pre-let meetings.
· Production of monthly valuation matrixes and variation schedules to client.
· Monthly production of cost value reconciliations.
· Regular reviews of contract documentation/drawing issues to ensure all parties have access to the correct and most up to date information.
· Working closely with client to agree variations dayworks.
· Regular engagement with subcontractors.
· Verify accurate payments for sub-contractors.
· Progress payments - liaising with clients around unpaid sums.
· Production of final accounts
· Liaise with relevant authorities.
· Prepare CVR's.
· To prioritise work to ensure that deadlines are met.
· To ensure all works are carried out in line with procedures to achieve ISO certification.
· Good client communications.
· Assist with any other duties to ensure the efficient running of Roadform within the scope of your duties.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a QS background to join the Roadform Team. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful Civil Engineering Company located in the Southwest., · Degree in Quantity Surveying.
· CSCS Card.
· Residential ground works experience required.
· Extensive knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
· Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.
· Strong team player but also able to work as an individual.
· Flexible and adaptable communication skills (email/phone/face to face).
· Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines.
· Ability to build and maintain effective and lasting relationships.
· Full driving license.
· Ability to travel efficiently around the South-West region in order to carry out duties.
· Possess a "can do" attitude and provide support to other members of the team as required.
