Full Job Description

  • Project Management: Assist in the management of small projects, monitoring costs, progress, and quality to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget.

  • Review Projects: Conduct regular reviews of ongoing projects to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

  • Tenders and Enquiries: Prepare and review tender documents and enquiries, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive bids.

  • Customer Liaison: Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Problem Resolution: Actively participate in problem-solving activities, identifying and addressing issues that may arise during construction projects. Resolve disputes and ensure resolution is reached and payments are received timeously

  • Cost Control: Monitor project costs, track variations, and assist in the preparation of cost reports, ensuring that projects remain financially viable

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project-related documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.

    Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.

  • Relevant construction industry experience, especially in project management or small project estimation.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of IT literacy, which include Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel).

    Junior Quantity Survey/Estimator for a company in the Construction industry based in Coventry

    We are now looking for a highly motivated and skilled Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

    This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday.
