Full Job Description
- Assisting in the design and development of manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Conducting experiments and trials to test theories and improvements
- Analysing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process optimisation
- Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement process improvements
- Maintaining accurate records of development activities and process changes
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Supporting scale-up operations from laboratory to full production level
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing issues
- Participating in continuous learning and training in cutting-edge processing technologies
The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, materials science, or a related technical field, coupled with experience in a manufacturing or process development role. We are looking for individuals who are innovative, detail-oriented, and possess a strong analytical mindset. - Experience in polymer processing or materials development
- Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in data analysis software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma techniques
