Full Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will serve as a passionate advocate for Ultimate Kids both internally and externally, embodying inspirational leadership qualities that foster trust and respect. They will demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical principles, including equality, diversity, and safe practice, while collaborating effectively with diverse working styles to achieve positive outcomes. Additionally, they will embrace innovation, continuously seeking new ways to improve and drive positive change within our programs and the broader sector.

The successful candidate will oversee three primary areas of responsibility: delivering school sport services, engaging in community projects, and managing administrative tasks.

Deliver a range of School Support services including…

  • Staff CPD & PPA Cover (Curriculum Support Session) - Includes the delivery of a scheme of work following Short / Long term planning. You will be expected to use your expertise to adapt plans to the needs of your classes and monitor progress.

  • Sport & Activity based intervention for improved behavioural, social and physical outcomes - Planning activities with an overarching focus on holistic development, focussing on using sport to develop targeted groups in areas identified by the school.

  • Deliver motor skill development sessions at nursery settings - Develop fun, engaging programmes that focus on core movement skills laying the building blocks for proficient physical literacy.

  • Sport & Activity Camps - During the school holidays Ultimate Kids regularly provide the community with opportunities to be active during the school holidays with our Ultimate Kids Camps. You will be expected to bring high energy, and initiative to this role.

  • Ensuring camps are a safe, fun environment for children that leave a lasting impression.

  • HAF Programme - An extension of our holiday camps service, Ultimate Kids are a recognised HAF (Holiday, activity and food) programme provider in Sefton.

  • We are required to deliver fun, engaging health related workshops that educate children on how to lead a healthy, active lifestyle.


  • Administrative tasks
  • Effectively using systems such as Google calendar, Coordinate Sport and Moxo to streamline workload - Training to be provided.

  • Daily operations - Includes supporting areas such as School onboarding, Camp development and marketing.

  • Developing session plans and creating resources to assist with school related services

  • Innovating fun games & creating timetables for camps.


  • Duties
  • Independently plan and deliver sessions related to the NCPE while considering the needs of participants, taking into account the demands of the activity and the school setting.

  • Build rapport with key stakeholders - Solidifying our existing partnerships through high quality coaching and communication.

  • Follow safeguarding policy ensuring the safety of all participants.

  • Maintenance and upkeep of equipment.

    Coaching in schools - 1 year.

  • Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

  • Must be able to commute across multiple locations (Driving licence preferred).

  • Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

  • Ability to independently plan and deliver sessions related to the NCPE while considering the needs of participants, taking into account the demands of the activity and the school setting.

  • Experience utilising different behaviour management strategies considering individual need and school policy.

  • Comfortable working independently - taking the initiative and confident in dealing with a variety of situations.

  • Able to inspire and motivate young children to enjoy sports.

    Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
