Full Job Description

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Ability to engage children in various educational and play activities - through child led and adult initiated activities.
- Monitor children's progress and development, documenting observations as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery

Stramongate Nursery wish to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and highly capable Nursery Practitioner.

The successful candidate will hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare. Experience and knowledge of working with 0-4 year olds is essential, as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.

The children and staff at our well-regarded, happy and caring Nursery are friendly, supportive and welcoming. You will be joining an experienced and motivated team, keen to support you and welcome you in your role.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a group of children effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- A drive for continuous learning and professional development,
