We are looking for a Land Rights Team Leader who would like to help us reach our mission to "earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service".

As the Land Rights Team Leader Your key responsibilities are

· Effectively and efficiently managing the team to accurately instruct BUUKs solicitors, submitting our Heads of Terms, issuing of template documentation, whilst owning and progressing an independent portfolio of work

· Manage and lead a direct interface with GTC solicitors, Developers, Developer's solicitors, Third Party solicitors, Wayleave Officers and any other party for all utilities, to ensure negotiations progress at a swift pace and in line with the company policies and customer requirements.

· Meeting with any parties and their commercial solicitors to agree processes and standardised documents to benefit GTC and manage correspondence thereafter.

· Ensure the team are adequately developed and trained to negotiate and assist throughout all conveyancing stages.

· Must have an understanding of fundamental land law principles (i.e. land transfer, lease, easement, wayleave).

· Have previous Team Leader/Line management experience.

· Ability to work well under strict deadlines and some pressure.

· Ability to effectively lead and assist a team working under strict deadlines.

· Be able to effectively organise and prioritise workload.

· Ability to performance manage staff where required.

· Be able to professionally motivate a team, maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanour at all times.
