IT Technician

Lyminster is a one-form entry primary with 208 children on roll. We are looking for an excellent IT Technician to provide IT maintenance and support across the school, including supporting teaching staff in the delivery of the curriculum and with the usage of IT in the classroom.

Ø a keen desire to work in a busy school environment
Ø good knowledge and understanding of working with networks and a variety of IT hardware and software
Ø the desire and ability to work well with adults and children, other technicians and ‘lay-people’
Ø excellent communication skills
Ø a strong desire to keep up to date with latest developments
Ø ability to prioritize and work within a team and independently
Ø an eye for detail.

  This is a permanent post for 12 hours per week, term-time only on West Sussex Grade 7 (£27,344-£29,777 pro rata, depending upon experience), to start as soon as possible. We would prefer the working pattern to be two days per week, but there is some flexibility for the right candidate.
