Finance Manager

We are looking for a full time Finance Manager to join our fun, hardworking and forward-thinking team in our ever-expanding centre, just north of Oxford.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Leading all financial and accounting activities and being the first point of contact for all local finance matters


• Working closely with the management team to improve cost control and budgeting and on the streamlining of systems and procedures.


• Working closely with the company's accountants and auditors


• Processing and managing the company payroll.


• Paying supplier invoices in a timely manner, purchase ledger


• Monthly bank reconciliation


• Producing comprehensive monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts and year end reporting


• Reporting Directly to the Managing Director you will attend supervisory board meetings.


• Managing a small team of finance assistants.
  
  You will be a strong communicator who is confident to liaise across departments.


• This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in all financial aspects of the business.


• Excellent planning, organising and decision-making skills are essential.


• You will be comfortable working accurately under pressure and multi-tasking with a positive attitude.


• You must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Sage and Excel


• You will have a relevant accountancy qualification (ideally AAT)


• Experience of the retail sector in an accounts capacity would be an advantage.


• You will have proven experience in a similar role at a managerial level.


• You will be proactive and inquisitive about learning new skills and tasks., Bachelor's (preferred)


Experience:

• Finance: 3 years (required)


• Management: 2 years (required)
