Families of babies, children, and young people with serious or terminal conditions are often overwhelmed by the challenge of caring for their children; the complexities of working with many professionals, services, and appointments; and the difficulties of maintaining family life and employment. That is why we are here to help families find a way through the stress and emotions by offering our services at home., We are currently looking for a Deputy lead Nurse (Band 6) to join the amazing Hospice at Home team, supporting the development of rainbows in the home and being part of an ever-expanding development of the service for Babies, Children and Young People who are needing end of life or palliative care. This role will require you to travel and work around the East Midlands, covering the 5 counties of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, and Northamptonshire. Hours of work will be 37.5 over 7 days with the occasional requirement to start early or finish later due to the needs of a family and the flexibility to do nights, upon discussion. There will also be the occasional need to be on call when required by external community services in response to urgent referrals.
