Full Job Description

We are looking for 7 x growth over the next three years and as Head of Growth you will be leading the strategies to achieve this.. Reporting into the CEO and COO, you'll own acquisition and retention, data analysis, digital development, digital media planning, and delivery of growth OKRs.

This includes high-level performance and brand marketing strategies, and website development road mapping, while also taking a hands-on approach to individual campaigns and tests.

You will be responsible for ideating and delivering the initiatives required to achieve our ambitious business objectives as we expand internationally, redefine physical retail in the DTC space, and build our community.

We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record of scaling an ecommerce startup. The role will require you to be hands on with execution and coaching whilst you build your team, whilst also creating the longer term strategy - the ideal person will relish this challenge. You will be able to demonstrate excellent team leadership skills, deep knowledge of growth channels and strategy, and know how to create a positive team culture to develop, hire, and retain exceptional talent.

Your responsibilities

  • Create and execute the digital strategy, across acquisition and retention, to hit our ambitious growth targets.

  • Delivering a testing program to develop new marketing channels that can be scaled to a significant proportion of the revenue mix.

  • Deliver a best in class website conversion experience through testing and project managing development projects.

  • Create a best in class lifecycle marketing function to drive long term LTV.

  • Build a creative production engine that fuels our paid social growth.

  • Drive growth through scaling performance marketing across multiple channels (Google, Meta, TikTok, Influencer, Affiliate, Print etc) and regions.

  • Owning, optimising, tracking and reporting customer behaviour through the full funnel of acquisition and conversion.

  • Analysing quantitative and qualitative data for business insights, improving our data-stack as you go

  • Work closely with the brand team to turn the purpose and brand identity into a competitive advantage, directing creative requirements and acquisition and retention efforts

  • Develop and grow a lean, skilled and focused growth team.

  • Own the setting, strategic adjustment to and monitoring of spend and departmental budgets. Helping model out different scenarios and forecasts, providing optimistic and conservative targets to the team.

  • Be an active member of the WNU leadership team, influencing and owning long term strategy decisions.

    8+ years experience driving significant, sustained growth at DTC/fashion ecom brands.

  • Have hands on experience in the following functions: Meta & Google ads, performance creative strategy, conversion rate optimisation, lifecycle marketing.

  • Excel at delivering big picture strategy, but also be able to get hands-on to build things from the ground up where necessary.

  • Have experience managing a team, high performing agencies and working with senior leadership

  • Be comfortable working in a start-up environment: working lean and quickly with available resources, making data based decisions

  • Be highly numerate, attentive to detail and analytically minded

  • Be driven, ambitious, solution oriented, and nice to work with

  • Be excellent in supporting software applications and data warehouses
