Crisis Manager

The Customer Safety & Wellbeing Team plays a key role in developing and delivering easyJet holidays' preventative and response measures in the areas of safety, security, welfare, incidents, crisis and business continuity. We are responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our supplier safety proposition, destination security, incident and crisis frameworks and business continuity plans across all our source markets and destinations., We are recruiting for a Crisis Manager to join our team. In this newly created role you'll contribute to our overall preparedness and operational resilience, and our alignment with easyJet airline through leadership, strategic planning and collaborative engagement.

As our Crisis Manager, you will promote a culture of resilience, preparedness and risk management within easyJet holidays, and provide leadership and oversight to ensure the development, implementation and continuous improvement of crisis management, business continuity and effective resilience and response strategies. You'll safeguard our ability to effectively respond to disruptions, manage crises and protect the interests of stakeholders while aligning resilience efforts with the broader goals and priorities of easyJet holidays, and you'll lead in design and delivery of competency, training, exercise and facilities readiness programmes.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience of working in a crisis management, business continuity, emergency response or related role, along with leadership experience and experience of leading external parties including suppliers, regulators and local authorities.

You'll be confident delivering training and providing subject matter expertise in emergency response/crisis management, have knowledge of relevant industry standards (eg BCI, ISO22301, ISO9001 etc), and some project management experience with excellent planning and organisation skills.

Finally you'll have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and experience of operating in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment.

The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model of 3 in-office days per week.
