Full Job Description

Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor seeking a new challenge that combines your expertise in cost management with broader commercial responsibilities? We are currently seeking a Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective cost management, cost control, and commercial management across a diverse portfolio of projects and programmes. If you're looking for an opportunity to utilise your extensive QS experience in a multifaceted role, this could be the perfect fit for you., Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.

  • Professional Membership of RICS, CIOB.

  • Extensive experience in construction/maintenance environment providing cost management, cost control, and cost forecasting.

  • Experience in contract administration and different building contract forms, including NEC and JCT.

  • Strong supply chain management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets and project finance.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Full understanding of Construction, Design and Management Regulations and other relevant health and safety requirements.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience working within a leadership team.

  • Financial qualifications

  • Experience in managing outsourcing and procurement processes

  • Previous experience in developing and maintaining cost benchmark libraries

  • Familiarity with risk management processes and strategies
