Full Job Description

  • Collaborate within the Global Commercial Banking Business Finance team. You will support the team in leading and developing the global Planning processes including running monthly forecast, annual financial resource planning; evaluation and analysis of business performance and reporting for CMB.

  • Responsibility for day-to-day interaction with senior management within Global CMB Finance, the CMB business, along with Group and Regional Finance teams. It will include regular interaction with the Global and Regional CFOs teams within CMB as well as the broad range of Global MI teams within Business Finance.

  • Drive change in the Planning processes, enhance commercial analysis and insight, develop strategic insights and brief senior management on the impact. Reporting includes to Global CMB ExCo and Group Executive Committee (GEC). The role will provide direction for at least 2 individuals based in the GFC India.

  • Responsible for delivering the finance vision of a more streamlined FRP process.

    You will have significant change delivery and agile skills to support the development agenda (inc. digital), strong commercial acumen and involves constantly working with both financial and non-financial information.

  • As a headquarters role, it requires the individual to be a strong communicator and able to work with teams Globally.

  • Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.

  • Demonstrable planning & financial analysis experience, including a strong understanding of business issues and drivers of business performance.

  • Finance systems knowledge - TM1.

  • Experience of engaging, motivating and managing a team.

  • Collaborative, engaging, credible and analytical; being able to bring the numbers to life.

  • Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders (at all levels of seniority).


  • The base location for this role is London and with a hybrid working pattern.
