Class Teacher (Mortimer Primary School)

We are recruiting a full-time teacher to join our thriving primary school from 1st September 2024, fixed term until 31st August 2025, in the first instance. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the duties of a teacher in accordance with the Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and other relevant statutory provisions, and to carry out other such associated duties as are reasonably assigned by the Head teacher.

At present, we envisage the position will be in KS2, but candidates should be open to working across the primary age range.

This will be an ideal role for an enthusiastic ECT looking for a school to develop and be supported in, but who can also bring their own skills to the team. We will support Early Career Teachers with dedicated mentors and associated timetable reductions.

We are seeking to appoint teachers who:

• have a thorough knowledge of the primary curriculum so as to deliver meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences


• have the ability to provide high standards of care and education


• are able to create stimulating learning environments, both indoor and outdoor


• show commitment to ensuring equality of opportunity for all learners


• work with staff and support leadership within the school vision.
